Ultimus Fund Solutions Chosen by Solar Capital to Provide Operational Support for Firm’s Product Lineup,
Firm Leverages Ultimus’ Expertise to Optimize Operations and Support Broader Growth
CINCINNATI, OHIO – NOVEMBER 9, 2015 – Ultimus Fund Solutions, LLC (Ultimus) announced today that it has been selected by New York City-based Solar Capital to provide fund accounting support for the firm’s Business Development Companies (BDCs) as well as middle and back office support for its growing Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) business. Solar will utilize Ultimus’ depth of experience and technology to add efficiencies to the firm’s fund accounting and reporting for complex investment classes, including middle market senior secured loans. This is the latest win for Ultimus as it continues to establish itself as a leader in customizable middle- and back-office solutions for investment managers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ultimus will provide fund accounting for Solar Capital’s funds, including certain processing services related to bank debt investing. Ultimus will also provide fund accounting and other middle office services to support Solar’s SMA accounts. Solar chose Ultimus because of our firm’s ability to take on complex offerings and develop tailored middle and back office solutions that facilitate operational efficiencies.
