Position reinforces firm’s commitment and focus on client service,
while ensuring the integration process is optimized
CINCINNATI, OHIO – MARCH 20, 2019 – Ultimus Fund Solutions® (Ultimus®), the largest independent provider of fund administration services which recently closed on the deal to strategically combine Ultimus and The Gemini Companies (Gemini), today announces the addition of seasoned industry professional Ian Martin as Chief Administrative Officer.
As Chief Administrative Officer, Martin’s key responsibility will initially be to oversee the integration workstreams for the Ultimus and Gemini combination.Each firm uses the same core technology platforms, so the integration will largely focus on corporate services in addition to ensuring that client service teams are using best practices across the two firms to improve service delivery.

Martin brings notable experience for administering transformational projects over his 25+ years in the industry. He is a nationally recognized expert on mutual fund processing, shareholder servicing, efficiency, and quality control. Martin previously led the Transfer Agent Department at U.S. Bank Global Fund Services with over 550 clients with $1 trillion in AUA, having oversight of daily operations, technology, vendor management and contract negotiation. He was also Chairman of the Board of the Trust for Advised Portfolios, a multi-series trust with 13 funds and $3.5 billion in net assets.
