Firm Launches First Mutual Fund Through Ultimus Managers Trust
CINCINNATI, OHIO – SEPTEMBER 29, 2015 – Ultimus Fund Solutions, LLC (Ultimus) announced today that it has been chosen by Alambic Investment Management (Alambic) to provide fund administration services for the firm’s first mutual fund, a small cap value fund. Based in San Francisco, Alambic intends to utilize the Ultimus Managers Trust platform to gain operational efficiencies and expand its product offering to a broader base of investors. Alambic previously employed its systematic investment strategy solely in an alternative strategy, and will use elements of that systematic strategy in constructing and managing the mutual fund portfolio. Alambic is the latest alternative manager to select Ultimus for administration, fund accounting, transfer agency, compliance and distribution services through the Ultimus Managers Trust, solidifying Ultimus as a leader in the series trust arena. .
As part of the relationship, Ultimus is helping craft a customized product design to support Alambic’s business goals. Alambic selected Ultimus after a national search, citing the firm’s strategic expertise and consultative approach to the design and launch of the fund as major factors.
